Sven Sauer (DE)

Sven Sauer is a Berlin-based artist and visual creator whose installations investigate hidden structures of hope, collective behaviour and human cooperation. Combining scientific research, historical references and audiovisual systems, his immersive works create psychological tension through light, movement and material. Before focusing on his artistic practice, he worked on visual effects for productions such as Hugo, Oblivion, Melancholia and Game of Thrones. DEVIATION unfolds within the dark interior of the Parts Storage, where a slowly moving train activates thousands of broken glass shards through cascading chains of light. The installation explores the fragile relationship between destruction and solidarity, transforming fragments of collapse into an unexpected landscape of collective hope.
