Monumental light installations within the abandoned spaces of the Power Plant of Inota

In one of Hungary’s most distinctive industrial sites, contemporary light art and industrial heritage come together to create a world that is at once futuristic, raw and timeless. Among the dark, rugged industrial structures, light, sound, and moving image redraw the monumental architecture of the power plant, transforming its former halls and installation spaces into new audiovisual landscapes.

In 2026, the exhibition returns with site-specific works by international artists. The current programme features installations by Sven Sauer, MAOTIK, Lukas Truniger & Bruce Yoder, Cape Sante (Andrea Maioli & Leandro Summo), Anni Kinnunen and Radiante Lab, among others, each responding to the unique character of the power plant’s extraordinary spaces.
