HOUSE RULES
Dear Visitor,
These house rules set out the conditions for entering and staying at the INOTA Festival site. Accepting these rules is a condition of entry. Please read them carefully and follow them – they are in place to ensure that everyone can enjoy the festival safely, comfortably and without disruption.
The rights and obligations arising from the legal relationship between INOTA Festival and the persons entering the event (Visitors) are set out in the INOTA Festival General Terms and Conditions.
Venue: Inota Power Plant, Várpalota. Dates: 26–29 August 2027.
I. ENTRY AND STAY ON THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS
1. Site conditions
The festival takes place on a former industrial site, the Inota Power Plant. To prevent accidents, you must remain within designated areas only.
The ground is uneven and unpaved in some places – please watch your step.
2. Wristbands
Your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband at the venue. You must wear it throughout the entire festival. Wristbands are personal and may not be transferred to another person. Damaged, altered or invalid wristbands do not entitle you to remain on the festival grounds. In such cases, you must leave the festival site.
3. Entry times
A daily ticket is valid from the opening of the gates on the day of entry until 10:00 the following morning. Overnight stays and camping are not permitted within the festival grounds. The campsite is located outside the festival site and is subject to the separate Camping Rules.
4. Footwear
Only closed-toe shoes are permitted on the festival grounds. Entry may be refused to visitors wearing flip-flops or sandals for their own safety.
5. Prohibited items
The following items may not be brought onto the festival grounds: drugs, pyrotechnic devices, weapons, glass objects, umbrellas, knives with blades longer than 8 cm, pepper spray, throwing stars, any other dangerous objects, alcoholic beverages, and drones without prior written authorisation.
Random bag checks may be carried out during entry screening. Please cooperate with the security staff.
6. Food and drink
You may bring water or soft drinks in PET bottles with a maximum capacity of 2.5 litres. In the event of an official heat alert, additional quantities of water may be brought in. Bringing food in commercial quantities or tobacco products in commercial quantities is not permitted.
7. Visitors under 18
Visitors under the age of 18 may attend the festival only when accompanied by an adult. After 22:00, entry is permitted only to persons aged 18 and over.
8. Transport and parking
Only vehicles with special authorisation may enter the event site. A designated parking area for visitors is available outside the festival grounds. Parking capacity is limited, so we recommend using public transport or taxis.
9. Animals
Only assistance dogs recognised under applicable law, such as guide dogs or assistance dogs used for therapeutic purposes, may enter the festival site. Dogs must be kept on a lead. Proof of a rabies vaccination administered within the previous year is required, as are a collar and a tag displaying the owner's telephone number. You are fully responsible for your dog's behaviour.
10. Visitors with reduced mobility
The festival site is not accessible throughout. Some areas may be inaccessible or only partially accessible to wheelchair users. Visitors with reduced mobility are asked to take the site's physical conditions into account when deciding to enter and move around the venue.
II. CODE OF CONDUCT
1. Behaviour and environmental awareness
Please behave respectfully, without offending others, and in a manner appropriate to the event. The festival takes place at a unique industrial heritage site – please treat it with care.
Selective waste collection points will be provided throughout the site. Please use them correctly and dispose of your waste in the designated bins, sorting it appropriately.
2. Photography and audio/video recordings
Photographs and audio/video recordings may be made at the event and used by INOTA and its partners in festival communications. By attending the festival, you consent to this use. If you are a public figure, you may also be identified by name without separate consent.
You may make recordings for personal use. Recording for commercial purposes, identifying other visitors in recordings, or using recordings featuring other visitors is permitted only with the consent of the persons concerned.
3. Commercial activities
Commercial, promotional or marketing activities may be carried out on the festival grounds only with prior written authorisation from INOTA Festival.
4. Alcohol and drugs
We do not serve alcohol to persons under the age of 18 or to intoxicated visitors. Possession and use of illegal drugs are prohibited by law.
5. Dangerous behaviour
Body surfing, mosh pits and wall-of-death activities are prohibited. Visitors who breach this rule may be removed from the event after being instructed to stop.
6. Demonstrations
Any demonstration may take place only with prior authorisation from INOTA Festival. If that authorisation is withdrawn, the demonstration must cease immediately.
7. Cooperation with staff
A trained team is responsible for festival safety. Please cooperate with staff, especially in emergency situations. If you wish to make a formal complaint, you may do so at the information point.
8. Drone use
Drones may be used only with prior written authorisation, in compliance with applicable laws and provided that the safety of the event and its visitors is not endangered.

1. Liability
INOTA Festival Kft. accepts liability only for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. In other cases, our liability is excluded.
