The Ultimate

Hungarian Itinerary

Don't just come for the weekend. INOTA is perfectly positioned between Hungary's dynamic capital and its stunning 'inner sea.'

Budapest – Urbex, Techno & Art Capital

Immerse yourself in the industrial and underground culture that fuels the Inota spirit. As the central hub for the region's electronic music scene, the city sets the perfect stage for what’s to come. Spend a few days exploring its vibrant creative communities before jumping on the festival bus.

Industrial Food & Vibe: Dobrumba

Start your culinary journey at Dobrumba in the heart of the 7th district. This incredibly popular spot offers a vibrant mix of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Caucasian flavors in a raw, stylishly industrial setting. Perfect for sharing plates before a night out.

Location address: Budapest, Dob u. 5, 1074

Urbex: Csepel Works (Csepel Művek)

If you love the vibe of Inota, you must explore the Csepel Works. This massive industrial site on an island in the Danube feels like a city within a city. It’s a playground for urbex enthusiasts, filled with socialist-era factories, bunkers, and hidden workshops that still hum with a raw, metallic energy.

Location address: Budapest, Színesfém u. 27, 1211

The Techno Hub: Turbina

Turbina Cultural Centre is essential. Set in a raw industrial building in the 8th district, it functions as a techno club, art gallery, and community space. It is the spiritual urban counterpart to Inota.

Location address: Budapest, Vajdahunyad u. 4,1082

Lakeside Vibes & Veszprém

After the intense brutalism of the power plant, find balance by the water. Visit the charming towns of Balatonfüred or the stunning Tihany Peninsula. Don't miss Veszprém, a historic city nearby (and recent European Capital of Culture), known for its castle district and artistic streetscapes. It serves as a great, calmer base during the festival.

Lake Balaton – Chill & Recharge

The festival venue is only a 20-minute drive from Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe.

ABOUT THE VENUE

The three iconic cooling towers and the massive turbine hall provide a backdrop like no other in Europe. Expect brutalist magnitude, Soviet-era nostalgia, and world-class light projections that breathe life into the concrete giants.
