Rosario Grieco (IT) – Data shapes

Rosario Grieco is an audiovisual artist who works with generative video environments and abstract soundscapes. His work focuses on the ways in which sound, light and space intersect to create live visual music experiences. Throughout his artistic career, he has created multimedia installations for museums and galleries and participated in festivals and concerts. He often collaborates with other artists, musicians and performers to create works in which the creative process emerges from the interaction between different artistic disciplines. DATA SHAPES is an audiovisual project that opens a virtual space populated by data. Within this space, information can be seen and heard as it moves: groups of data aggregate and disperse, push through the mass, and allow specific elements to come into focus. Floating shapes and abstract soundscapes form a continuously changing sensory environment, like an open window onto a hypothetical point of exchange observed through a magnifying glass. At INOTA 2026, the work is presented as part of the continuous audiovisual programme in the Theatre Hall. The content is adapted to the room through two video layers: one for the main projection surface and one for the ceiling, extending the digital spatial experience into the architecture of the venue.
