What exactly should we expect this year?

After last year's big festival, we're bringing concept events focused on a specific theme for 2024 to the stunning power plant. First up was INOTA Focus: TURBINE HALL on 12 and 13 July: this time, we opened up the country's largest unofficial techno club for two days in the 6,000 square metre Turbine Hall.

The next stage, from 30 August to 1 September, will be the much more ambitious INOTA Focus: RADIANCE, where light art will take centre stage and the power plant zone will become one huge walk-through exhibition space - while electronic music will be on display, from cosmic ambient to cutting-edge techno.

If I'm only interested in the light art programme, is there a lower-priced ticket?

Yes, that's what the 'Sétálójegy' (Walk ticket) is for. You can buy it here!

Do I need to buy a separate ticket for the music performances in the Auditorium?

Yes, you need to get the 'Napijegy + Színházterem' (Day Ticket + Theatre Hall) ticket combo. Buy it here! (UPDATE: All tickets for the Alessandro Cortini-led Saturday night theatre event on 31 August are SOLD OUT.)

When does the party start, how long will it last and where will it be?

On Friday 30 August at 4pm, we open the Grove, where you can dance until 8am the next day, while admiring the cooling towers and the open sky. And at 10pm, the Canteen opens, where the harder club music plays until 6am. And that goes for Saturday too! Find out more about the venues here.

Where can I find the timetable?

Here you can check out the exact programme breakdown, starting with the light art exhibition and then the music block.

Will there be a campsite?

Yes, you will be able to camp this time. IMPORTANT: to enter the campsite, you must buy a camping ticket ('KEMPINGJEGY') per person, and in addition, depending on the size of the tent, you must also buy a TENT PLACE TICKET per tent. Buy them here

Will there be buses?

Yes. There will be a shuttle service between the Várpalota railway station and the power plant, adapted to the trains, and Focus Buses coming directly from Budapest will also be running. Check all your options for getting to the power plant with a single click here.

Can I bring in food and drinks?

You can bring in one water and one portion of food, otherwise there will be super gastro spots in the area.

Can I bring my dog?

Only assistance animals are allowed on Friday and Saturday, and pets on a leash and muzzle are allowed on Sunday Family Day.

Will there be lockers / storages on site?

Yes, you will be able to drop off your unwanted items at our merch counter.

What will happen on Sunday?

On Sunday, the sound systems will be silenced but the light installations will remain for the evening. During the day, from 4pm, a family day will start with super creative workshops for kids. Read more here! Please note: these programmes will be in Hungarian.

I'm a musician / DJ and I'd like to apply to be a performer, is that an option?

Our booking team is working to a pre-defined concept and the lineup is already set, so no applications is accepted. However, you can send us an introduction at @email for future events!
