Kinga Azúr’s sculptures and installations are imprints of spatial dissolution, the volatile and illusory nature of perception, and the encounter between matter and spirit.
In her work, forms are never static—they expand and condense, boundaries blur, and matter seems to shift into another dimension. Her sculptural language is defined by a sense of continuous transformation and hovering presence: delicate spaces emerge from the dialogue between material, light, shadow, and void.
For years, Kinga Azúr has explored those liminal zones where the sensuous illusion of reality meets the relative freedom of materiality. Her artistic practice is driven by a curiosity toward the dissolution of fixed reference points and the invisible expanses that lie beyond perceptual comfort zones. Her installations oscillate between organic formations and minimalist clarity, yet they always aim to dissolve boundaries and evoke a deeply internal experience in the viewer.
Her art pieces have been presented at numerous exhibitions both in Hungary and abroad, including the Godot Institute of Contemporary Art in Budapest, the Kossuth Gallery in Miercurea Ciuc, and the International Symposium at Lake Velence. In her Vision Sculptures series, the stillness of sculpture gives way to the pulsing presence of space and time.
