u.r.trax, real name Inès Boullant, is a DJ and producer from Paris, known for her diverse palette from trippy techno to electro and dark trance. A lifelong music enthusiast, she began playing instruments at age four and delved into production by ten, developing a DIY approach early on. A formative visit to Berlin’s Tresor at age 14 with her mother ignited a deep connection to club culture and just a few years later, she was already working behind the scenes as an artist host, soaking up the energy and mechanics of nightlife from every angle. By 2019, she began releasing music under the u.r.trax moniker, diving headfirst into the Paris and Berlin scenes and discovering her calling in the chaos.

Her first big break came in 2020 with “Folge Mir” on KAOS, Hector Oaks’ label, followed by EPs on Lobster Theremin and her own KAOS-URTRAX. Often working on the move, she crafted entire projects on just a laptop, embracing spontaneity as a creative tool. Her sound has evolved into a more psychedelic realm, with releases on Trip and BPitch Records that highlight her range. She’s since played iconic venues like Awakenings, ://about blank, and Tresor.West, and launched her own event series UNDER RAVE. Their mascot is an octopus, symbolising their project’s multifaceted and far-reaching nature.
